SINA Held Blood Donation Drive
SINA recently held a blood donation drive at Indus Hospital & Health Network to play its part in saving lives. The team wholeheartedly participated in donating blood so the needy patients at Indus Hospital can benefit from their efforts. SINA greatly appreciates Indus’s team that followed proper protocol for screening donors to establish eligibility. The donors were offered free blood screening as a token of appreciation and given a tour of the blood bank so that they know their blood is handled with care and reaches the most deserving patients. SINA urges other organizations also to regularly conduct blood donation drives as each blood donation can save up to 3 lives.
SINA recently held conflict management training for its head office and clinic staff, given by Dr. Abeer Salim Habib, Assistant Medical Director at Tabba Heart Institute. The interactive training covered disagreements between employees at the workplace and the possible strategies to resolve them. Dr. Abeer covered the types of conflict management strategies with examples to make the participants understand the best solutions to their unique challenges while working with their colleagues. Being a not-for-profit healthcare trust, SINA aims to instill empathy and compassion in its employees not just for the patients but for each other to collaborate with dignity and respect.
