About Us

About Us

Transforming Healthcare for Underserved Communities

SINA Health, Education & Welfare Trust is a pioneering nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality primary healthcare to Pakistan’s most marginalized populations. With 40 clinics (including 2 mobile units) strategically located in urban slums and underserved areas, SINA serves over 1.2 million patients annually. Our services range from maternal care and mental health support to disease prevention programs for diabetes, hypertension, and infectious diseases. Since 1998, we’ve prioritized cost-effective care (as low as $2.50 per patient) while integrating innovative solutions like solar-powered clinics and a state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

In order to strengthen our Governance and controls SINA Health, Education & Welfare Trust has started to transition to SINA HealthSystems Foundation (a Section 42 company registered with SECP). Although we are already complying with the Governance requirements of a section 42 company we have also got the Quality management system of SINA HealthSystems Foundation certified to ISO 9001. Over the next several months we will inshallah  strive to complete our transition.
